Kai is a proud transmasc writer from Melbourne, Australia. He grew up reading and writing epic fantasy novels, and though his literary passion has grown beyond that niche, there his heart will always lie. Regardless of the genre or form of Kai’s writing, queerness always pervades through the characters and themes of his work. When he isn't writing, he's following one of his other passions: editing, songwriting or sitting quietly with one of his three cats. Kai will gladly eat most foods, but his comfort foods are sushi and pasta.

August is an artist and writer based in Melbourne, Australia with a strong passion for storytelling, visual expression and character creation. They have several of their own stories, scripts and novels in the works, with a heavy focus on drama, romance, fantasy, LGBTQIA+, thriller and mature themes. August is a lover of all things creative and indulges in one too many films on a daily basis, and also creates 2D art and illustrations in a professional setting. Their current favourite food is a chicken schnitzel burger with fries!

Le-Anne is a UK-based writer drawn to stories of healing, self-reclamation and fierce, complicated women. She writes contemporary romance and feminist literary fiction, often exploring found family, trauma recovery and queer identity. Outside of writing, Le-Anne is usually learning French (albeit badly and at a questionable pace), getting lost in films or following the creative threads that shape her everyday life.

Grey is a genderless cookie from France. They are a fantasy writer, but leaning more and more into romance as days pass. They are fond of stories about self love, trust and friendships, but also enjoy stories of self-discovery and belonging. They love trying new things and aspire to one day live in a castle with their friends and two cats. Grey’s favourite thing to eat is sushi and homemade waffles!

Hawk is a proud transgender man, recovering economist and author from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He considers himself a modern polymath, but focuses today on writing literary fiction with an emphasis on character and formation of the self, influenced by Midwest emo and melodic punk—all of which come through in his debut novel, Corporeal Tourism; Or, the Flip. Hawk is a lover of cinema, a tarot reader, a challenger of societal norms, and the owner-slash-steward of We Write at Dawn. Nothing tastes better to Hawk than a cup of coffee and a cookie.

Sean is a multi-potentialite originally from Arizona, USA., currently living in Washington State, USA. With many projects in rotation and new hobbies always piquing his intrigue, Sean hopes to publish a novel and produce a music album. Themes of heroism, friendship, redemption, uniqueness and family stand out to him. In his free time he enjoys staying active by participating in triathlons and spending time with his wife and daughter. Sean will gladly consume any form of potato (he loves a good starch).
